At Newton Falls Exempted Village Schools, we know that great teachers change lives.
Every day, our teachers encourage students, build confidence, create opportunities, and help young people discover what they are capable of achieving.
Now, our students have a chance to help recognize those educators through the A+ Teacher Awards.
This annual recognition program honors 10 Trumbull County teachers and celebrates the educators who have made a meaningful difference in the lives of their students.
This year’s award program also marks 35 years of celebrating teachers, making it a special opportunity to highlight the lasting impact of outstanding educators in our schools and communities.
Students are invited to nominate a current K-12 teacher who has inspired them, supported them, challenged them to grow, or taught them an important lesson they will always remember. In their nomination, students should describe how that teacher influenced and inspired them to learn, or share the most important lesson that the teacher taught them.
Nomination forms will be available in the front offices of our school buildings for students to pick up, and families may also access the form through the provided links below:
We encourage parents to talk with their children about the teachers who have made a difference in their lives and to encourage them to submit a nomination. This is a simple but meaningful way to show appreciation for the educators who go above and beyond every day.
The A+ Teacher Awards are presented by the Tribune Chronicle in partnership with the Trumbull Retired Teachers Association.
Important Reminder:
Only current K-12 teachers are eligible for nomination, and the deadline to submit nominations is April 27, 2026.
We hope many of our students will take part in helping honor the excellent teachers who make Newton Falls a special place to learn and grow.
Thank you for helping us celebrate the very best in education.
