Newton Falls High School is proud to be recognized as a Purple Star School, an honor that highlights our commitment to supporting military-connected students and their families. We received this honor during the 23-24 school year.
This prestigious award reflects our dedication to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for those who serve our country.
At Newton Falls, we go above and beyond to provide the resources, understanding, and community connections that help our military families thrive.
Whether through tailored support services, dedicated staff, or community partnerships, we are here to ensure that all students have the opportunity to succeed.
“The Purple Star Award is more than just recognition; it’s a commitment to our military-connected students and a promise to stand by their side.”

Newton Falls educators understand the impact of military life on school age children as well as the importance of providing support to the military families in our community. For our military-connected families, our staff work to create a welcoming and supportive school where we help to ease transitions, alleviate stress/anxiety about relocating, and provide support/resources to meet the diverse needs of our military-connected families.
Identifying and supporting military-connected students allows them to be healthy, safe, engaged, supported and challenged in alignment with Ohio’s Whole Child Framework.
